Ramakrishna Mission Shilpapitha
Ramakrishna Mission Shilpapitha is a 65 years old Government Sponsored Polytechnic managed by Ramakrishna Mission, focused to impart technical education mainly to the underprivileged students as wished by Swami Vivekananda. Shilpapitha is recognized by West Bengal State Council of Technical Education and All India Council of Technical Education.
- Students are regularly recruited by Tata Steel, Tata Motors, JCB India Ltd., Cummins India Ltd., Shapoorji Pallonji & Co. Ltd, Larsen & Tubro Ltd., AFCONS Ltd., ITD Cementation Ltd., Sandvik Asia Pvt. Ltd., etc.
- Many students are serving Public Sector Companies.
- Ramakrishna Mission Shilpapitha, An Institution driven by Selfless Love and Inspiration as envisaged by Swami Vivekananda. Students are brought up under the loving care of the Monks as we strongly believe that Selfless Pure Love is the best instrument to build a man of strong moral character as practiced by Swami Vivekananda.
- Ramakrishna Mission Shilpapitha gives complete support to the underprivileged students for their tuition fees, study materials, learning communicative English, vocational training and mess/hostel expenses.
- Ramakrishna Mission Shilpapitha has well equipped laboratories, PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) & Industrial Automation Laboratory, Hydraulics & Pneumatics Control Laboratories and CNC machine workshop.
- Ramakrishna Mission Shilpapitha also have Technical Exhibition, Motivational Seminars, Sports, Students’ farewell ceremony, Reunion and Group Lunch programs.
