Admission Procedure :
Eligibility Criterion for Admission: To get admission in 1st year entrance examination JEXPO is to be given by the candidate.
But this year JEXPO examination has been scraped and admission will be taken based on a merit list on Madhyamik or Class 10th Results.
Qualification: Must have passed Secondary/Madhyamik Examination of the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education or its equivalent examination with English, Physical Science/Science and Mathematics among others as subjects securing at least 35% marks (no rounding up).
Age: At least 15 years and there is no upper age limit.
Medical Standards: A candidate must possess good physical and mental health. They should not be suffering from any disease or mental infirmity. He/She should not suffer from colour blindness.
Reservation: Reservation to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe(ST), Physically Challenged (PH), Other Backward Classes(OBC-A/B) Land Loser Quota are applicable for admission.
Students completed ITI and Vocational Courses are also eligible to take admission into 2nd year through VOCLET Examination.
